Terms of Service

This is a draft describing the actual service as built, not final legal terms — it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

The service

Secbuildon is a subscription service consisting of an agent you install on your own server(s) and a status/billing website. Plans and pricing are shown on the pricing page and may change; we'll give notice of price changes before they apply to an existing subscription.

Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing portal, linked from your fleet status page (the URL you received when you subscribed). Canceling stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law.

No warranty

Secbuildon helps identify security issues on your server but cannot guarantee it will detect every vulnerability, misconfiguration, or attack, and using it does not make your server secure by itself. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You remain responsible for your own server's security.

Acceptable use

You may only install the agent on servers you own or are authorized to administer.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
